The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greenburg works Gomes's body with a nice hook.
Gomes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gomes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Greenburg is just riding it out for now. Gomes eventually gives up the hold.
Gomes is looking for a kimura here.
Greenburg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gomes wants to pass the guard but Greenburg is keeping the position.
