Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trung Lu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phobos Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trung Lu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Phobos Carter's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trung Lu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phobos Carter!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Lu.
Carter looks for a takedown but Lu sprawls well.
Lu cracks Carter with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lu throws the kick towards the body but Carter avoids it.
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lu pinned against the cage. Lu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lu jabs at Carter's body.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Trung Lu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phobos Carter.

Carter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carter showed some decent athleticism there.
Lu is trying to stand back up but Carter is controlling him
Lu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lu tries to get out of the position.

Carter seems to be working for a kimura but Lu defends the submission attempt.
Carter is trying to control the action in half guard but Lu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carter is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Carter seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Carter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lu's head.
Lu is trying to stand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Carter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lu misses with a few strikes there.
Lu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Lu leaves Carter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Carter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lu as he avoids it easily.
Lu tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Carter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
