Abner has chosen Bulls On Parade as his entrance music. Peter Smart could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cayden Abner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cayden Abner!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smart with a nice calf kick.
Peter Smart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smart takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Smart throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Abner on the side of the head.
Abner tries to close the distance and clinch but Smart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Abner lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smart throws a strike but Abner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Abner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smart's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Abner gets tackled into the cage by Smart. Smart maintains the clinch.

Cayden Abner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
