The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexopoulos throws a leg kick but Upchurch moved away.
Alexopoulos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Upchurch went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Alexopoulos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alexopoulos takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Alexopoulos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Alexopoulos throws a body kick that misses
and Upchurch counters with a beautiful hook that drops Alexopoulos to the mat! Will Alexopoulos be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Upchurch to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Alexopoulos is up. He looks OK to continue.
It looks like George Alexopoulos has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alexopoulos misses with an attempted mid kick.
George Alexopoulos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alexopoulos tries to clinch up
and Upchurch counters with a straight right hand that connects right on the button, dropping Alexopoulos face first to the canvas! He's out! He's out cold! No need for a count here - this fight is over!
