Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tero Nuppi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Lindgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuppi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lindgren is out of range.
Nuppi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lindgren tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nuppi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lindgren throws a hook but Nuppi avoids it easily.
Nuppi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lindgren walks into a jab.
Lindgren rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nuppi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nuppi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nuppi just leaning against Lindgren, taking a breather.
Lindgren breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nuppi wants to clinch but Lindgren slips to the side
and Lindgren counters with a straight right hand.
Nuppi has his takedown stuffed
and Lindgren counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tero Nuppi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lindgren tries to bum rush Nuppi with a series of wild strikes but Nuppi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lindgren shoots in and drives through. Nuppi sprawls well.

Lindgren doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nuppi counters with a shoot takedown. Lindgren fights it but they end up in guard.
Nuppi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lindgren working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nuppi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nuppi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nuppi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lindgren works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nuppi gets to his feet. Lindgren looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lindgren shoots and misses
and Nuppi moves into the clinch.
Tero Nuppi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Lindgren.
Knees to the body from Nuppi.
Lindgren looks gassed!
Nuppi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A solid body kick from Nuppi.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lindgren misses the shot to the body.
Nuppi's corner calls for a 1-2. Nuppi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nuppi moves into the clinch.
Nuppi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nuppi stands and throws Lindgren's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lindgren is pushing Nuppi's head away, looking to escape. Nuppi manages to hold on to the position though.
Nuppi advances nicely into full mount.
Nuppi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Nuppi wants to finish this one by submission but Lindgren is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nuppi.

Lindgren is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nuppi looking for a guillotine from mount but Lindgren is having none of it.
Lindgren's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Nuppi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nuppi controlling the pace for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nuppi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lindgren is on top in guard.
Lindgren trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lindgren shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nuppi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Lindgren tries to kick Nuppi off but Nuppi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nuppi is keen to just control but Lindgren is a slippery customer.
Nuppi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lindgren!
Lindgren is trying to stand up.
Lindgren tries to reverse the position but Nuppi maintains control.
Nuppi content just to control the position here.
Lindgren wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nuppi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nuppi wants to control the pace but Lindgren is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lindgren wants to get back to his feet.
Nuppi trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lindgren wants to hold on but Nuppi pushes him away.
Lindgren wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Nuppi connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Nuppi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lindgren is now in Nuppi's guard. A big mistake from Nuppi there, giving up the dominant position!
Lindgren gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Lindgren gets the takedown into side control.
Lindgren wants to take a breather but Nuppi manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lindgren.

Nuppi is working an open guard so Lindgren takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lindgren looks for a takedown but Nuppi sprawls well.
Nuppi rushes Lindgren and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lindgren gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Nuppi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nuppi has a hand on Lindgren's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lindgren takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Lindgren lands a nice shot to the head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tero Nuppi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lindgren stands up from half guard.
Lindgren tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nuppi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lindgren shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lindgren showed some decent athleticism there.
Lindgren seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Lindgren wants to control but Nuppi is keeping him busy.
Nuppi is positioning himself well to prevent Lindgren advancing to mount.
Lindgren uses his free foot to push down on Nuppi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nuppi.
Nuppi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Nuppi bucks up and throws Lindgren to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Lindgren gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Lindgren lands a nice hook to Nuppi's body. Nuppi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nuppi tries to clinch up.
Nuppi wants to clinch but Lindgren slips to the side
and Lindgren counters with a stiff right hand.
Lindgren steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nuppi. That one must have hurt.

Nuppi shoots and misses
and Lindgren counters with a stiff right hand.
Lindgren moves in looking to clinch but Nuppi pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Nuppi or perhaps it was just good defense by Lindgren which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tero Nuppi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lindgren connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nuppi's hands.
Lindgren circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lindgren throws a body punch but Nuppi moves out of range.

Nuppi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tero Nuppi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Nuppi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
