The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Croco takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
liddell scores with a jab. Croco acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Croco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Croco punching from mount but liddell doing a good job of avoiding damage.
liddell tries to hold on but Croco pushes him away.
liddell squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
A nice elbow there by Croco.
It looks like sergio liddell has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
liddell wants to control but Croco is having none of it.
Croco connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That has opened up sergio liddell's cut even more.

liddell holds on for dear life, controlling Croco's posture momentarily.
liddell tries to hold on but Croco postures up.
Croco cracks liddell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
sergio liddell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at sergio liddell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
