Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Islam Rafiq (ranked 3992 p4p, 4521 weight class) and Martin Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Islam Rafiq!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Burns!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rafiq's waist but Rafiq gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burns off to one side.

Rafiq shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rafiq showed some decent athleticism there.
Rafiq is trying to control the action in half guard but Burns is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
