The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjölnir shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tyme pinned against the cage. Tyme gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tyme misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tyme misses with a looping left.

Tyme throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mjölnir.
Mjölnir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tyme loads up on a big right hand but Mjölnir slips the punch.
No luck for Mjölnir with that takedown attempt.
Tyme throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mjölnir shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyme manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mjölnir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've been told by Tyme's head coaches at Dark Knight Fight House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Magnus Tyme has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Torsten Mjölnir.

Mjölnir has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tyme is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Mjölnir closes the distance and clinches up with Tyme, looking for a takedown. Mjölnir pushes Tyme against the cage but Tyme circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mjölnir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyme is fending him off so far but Mjölnir persists. Nope, Tyme circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyme lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Mjölnir slips a straight right by Tyme.
Tyme lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mjölnir circles away quickly and effectively.
Tyme throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mjölnir fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyme avoids it really well and circles away.

and Mjölnir counters with a left and a right that stings Tyme.
Mjölnir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyme sprawls well. Tyme wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mjölnir gets slowly back to his feet.

Tyme lands a big right hand that sends Mjölnir crashing to the mat! Tyme stays standing though and waves Mjölnir back to his feet!

Tyme cracks Mjölnir with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tyme has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mjölnir to stand back up!

Tyme throws a hook but Mjölnir blocks it.

Tyme swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Tyme misses the target.
Tyme throws out a loose jab but Mjölnir uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tyme ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Mjölnir's jaw. Mjölnir's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Tyme does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Magnus Tyme!
After winning the bout, Magnus Tyme thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
