Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nils Ragnaar (ranked 1608 p4p, 1909 weight class) and Gurizuri Nakamura (ranked 236 p4p, 271 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ragnaar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mustasch - The Wave. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ragnaar.
Ragnaar's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ragnaar duly obliges.
We've been informed that Nakamura has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ragnaar looks to throw the jab but Nakamura is out of range.
Nakamura jabs Ragnaar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ragnaar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ragnaar feints and then cracks Nakamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nakamura down.
Ragnaar looks to land a right hand but Nakamura moved out of range.
Nakamura throws a body punch but Ragnaar moves out of range.

Nakamura throws a shot from downtown. Ragnaar moves away and avoids it.
Ragnaar lands a glancing blow to the side of Nakamura's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nakamura throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little feinted left hand from Ragnaar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ragnaar misses with a straight right.
Nakamura is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Ragnaar throws a sloppy head kick and Nakamura moves out of range easily.
And Nakamura tries to counter it with a takedown but Ragnaar pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ragnaar moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Nakamura takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ragnaar scores with the left hand. Nakamura knows he should have avoided that one.

Ragnaar throws a shot from downtown. Nakamura moves away and avoids it.
Nakamura has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nakamura there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ragnaar lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ragnaar tries to work over Nakamura's front leg with a kick but Nakamura checks it.
No joy there for Nakamura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nakamura shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ragnaar tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Nakamura manages to move to mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nakamura throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poor strikes thrown by Nakamura there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
