Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brennan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brennan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buttle circles away.

Brennan feints and as Buttle raises his hands in defense, Brennan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brennan tries to free his leg and advance position but Buttle is retaining full guard.
Buttle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brennan shoots in for a takedown but Buttle shows good takedown defense.
Paul Buttle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Brennan.
Buttle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brennan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Brennan wants to control but Buttle is keeping him busy.

Brennan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Buttle is on top in guard.

Buttle has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brennan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Buttle is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brennan pulls down on the head and he's put Buttle to sleep! This one is all over!
