And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Victor!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've been informed that Victor has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ahma takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Victor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Victor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ahma wants to control but Victor postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caio Victor has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ahma lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ahma, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
