Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luukos Maney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luukos Maney looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Carter decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Carter had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Maney is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carter Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Maney's back instead.
Maney is covering up but some of the strikes from Carter are getting through and doing damage.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carter connects with a nice short shot to Maney's temple.

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
