The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Arloski flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Velasquez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

It looks like Andrei Arloski has been cut.
You get the feeling that Arloski really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Velasquez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Arloski can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The cut above Andrei Arloski's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Velasquez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Andrei Arloski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Andrei Arloski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
