Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seamus O Brien (ranked 712 p4p, 1088 weight class) and Terry Silver (ranked 101 p4p, 148 weight class). O Brien's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien throws an overhand right that lands on Silver's shoulder, as Silver tries to avoid the shot.
Silver moves out of range of the strikes.
Despite the aggression on Silver's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A big left from O Brien misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Silver misses the target.
Silver with a nice cross.
O Brien throws a nice looking combination but Silver bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
O Brien keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A swing and a miss from O Brien.
Silver misses with a looping left.
O Brien scores with a sloppy right hand. Silver should have avoided that one.
Terry Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver throws a series of punches but O Brien avoids them all with ease.
O Brien misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silver.
Silver loads up on a big right hand but O Brien slips the punch.
Silver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but O Brien moves away.

Silver thuds his right hand into O Brien's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

O Brien gets tackled into the cage by Silver. Silver maintains the clinch.
A body shot lands from Silver.
Silver lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
O Brien tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
O Brien misses with some punches.
O Brien tries to circle away but Silver has him pinned against the cage.
O Brien lands a left hand that snaps the head of Silver backwards.
O Brien blocking some punches.

O Brien breaks the clinch.
O Brien misses the shot to the body.
Silver keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from O Brien.
Silver throws a body punch but O Brien moves out of range.

Silver drops O Brien with a beautiful combination! O Brien stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silver is looking for the KO!

O Brien is rocked!

It looks like Seamus O Brien has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
O Brien gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Silver points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. O Brien wakes up just in time to hear Silver thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
