The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valverde takes one to the side of the head.

Hunt moves into range and clinches up with Valverde.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Hunt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Valverde counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hunt connects with a body shot.
Valverde scores with a head kick.

Hunt is rocked!
Nice uppercut lands for Hunt. That snapped Valverde's head back.
Oh Hunt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Bethania Valverde has been cut.
Valverde cracks Hunt with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hunt tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Valverde pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hunt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Bethania Valverde decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
