The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G lands a nice shot to the body.
Koererlaerer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Koererlaerer misses with a wild combination.
Gay G fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gay G misses with a looping left.
Koererlaerer shoots in looking for a takedown. Gay G tries to sprawl out of it but Koererlaerer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gay G manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gay G has Koererlaerer pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Koererlaerer is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Gay G - that's hurt Koererlaerer badly! Oh, another knee lands and Koererlaerer is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Koererlaerer doesn't seem to be complaining.
