The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning throws out a loose jab but Boyle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boyle wants to counter with a clinch but Lightning pushes him away.
Lightning looks low and kicks high, catching Boyle right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Boyle is rocked!
It looks like Andy Boyle has been cut.
Boyle throws a series of punches but Lightning avoids them all with ease.
Lightning fires out a quick counter leg kick but Boyle just manages to avoid it.
Lightning looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Lightning backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Boyle's temple! It sends Boyle violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Lightning celebrates and the doctors try to help Boyle!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Cecil Lightning!
