The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevena thows a body kick. Daiz tries to catch it but that hurt him.
No joy there for Daiz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trevena tries a head kick but it misses.
Daiz is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Trevena tries to land a front kick but Daiz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Daiz steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Trevena .
Trevena pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Trevena throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Daiz tries to bum rush Trevena with a series of wild strikes but Trevena uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

King Trevena is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daiz wants to clinch up but Trevena keeps it at a distance.
Daiz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Daiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Daiz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Trevena regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Daiz.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Daiz works over Trevena with some ground and pound from guard.
Daiz stands up over Trevena , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Daiz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Daiz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Trevena is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Daiz just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Trevena has gone limp and this one is over!
