Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wilson (ranked 2866 p4p, 2638 weight class) and Yaya Kouame (ranked 389 p4p, 357 weight class). Kouame has chosen 2Pac - All Eyez On Me as his entrance music. Yaya Kouame told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kouame connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wilson's hands.

It looks like James Wilson has been cut.
Wilson avoids the body shot from Kouame.
Kouame looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Wilson rushes Kouame and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wilson misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wilson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Kouame lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Kouame lands a right hook to the body.
Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kouame.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wilson takes the fight into the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Wilson tries to stall but Kouame uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Maybe Wilson would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
Kouame throws a head punch that misses.
Wilson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Wilson misses with a hook from the clinch.

Kouame escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kouame missing with a left hand there. Wilson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It looked like Wilson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Kouame and Wilson goes tumbling to the canvas! Kouame follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Wilson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kouame escapes and gets back to his feet.
Oh Wilson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kouame drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Wilson's head, knocking him out cold! Kouame is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
