PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Arnason (ranked 3236 p4p, 3032 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 419 p4p, 392 weight class). Arnason comes into the arena with Michael Jackson - Off The Wall blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnason throws the left hand but Gable avoids the punch easily.
Gable doesn't manage to clinch there - Arnason circles away.
Arnason connects with a crisp jab.
Arnason jabs at Gable's body.
Gable slips a straight right by Arnason.
Arnason closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gable shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arnason defends it nicely.
Arnason connects with a right hand. Gable shakes it off.
Gable moves forwards but Arnason connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Gable looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Arnason scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Arnason dips to his left and cracks Gable with an uppercut!

and Gable takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Arnason lands a nice shot that snaps Gable's head back.
Arnason connects with a looping right hand.

Gable tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Arnason defends well and Gable ends up having to push Arnason into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arnason drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gable right on the button. Gable goes down! Arnason follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Arnason gets the win via TKO!
