The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Wrastle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wrastle lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Wrastle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wrastle controls the pace.
Wrastle is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Wrastle prevents Silva from getting back to his feet.

Silva wants to stand but Wrastle is controlling the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee asks Wrastle politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wrastle prefers to stall for the moment though.

Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wrastle on the ground.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Wrastle remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Wrastle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silva to see if he's OK.

Wrastle has hold of Silva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Silva seems comfortable defending it but Wrastle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Silva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Silva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wrastle couldn't care less - he's delighted!
