Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riley Hatfield (ranked 1711 p4p, 1570 weight class) and Roman Kos (ranked 230 p4p, 209 weight class). Hatfield comes to the cage accompanied by Cruel World- Willie Nelson. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riley Hatfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Kos!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatfield keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kos.
Kos misses with a straight right.
A jab from Hatfield does it's job there.
Kos tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kos misses with a kick to the body.
Hatfield listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hatfield has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kos misses with a wild body shot.
Kos throws a nice looking combination but Hatfield bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Roman Kos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Hatfield. Those never looked like landing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kos! But no joy.

Hatfield will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hatfield lunges at Kos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kos's hand.

and Hatfield cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hatfield lands with a cross.
Kos walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kos tries to move into range but Hatfield moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kos throws an overhand right that lands on Hatfield's shoulder, as Hatfield tries to avoid the shot.
Hatfield getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hatfield connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kos lands a nice looking body shot.
A shot to the body from Kos misses
and Hatfield counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kos just misses with a punch to the body.
Kos takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hatfield throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hatfield is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kos throws a head kick that misses.
Hatfield sizes up Kos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Hatfield cracks Kos with an open hand slap.
A big left from Hatfield misses.
Kos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hatfield.

Hatfield digs a good body shot into Kos's ribs.

Kos doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kos throws a wild body kick that Hatfield sees coming a mile off.
Hatfield throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hatfield jabs Kos to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hatfield lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Hatfield swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hatfield takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hatfield connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kos's hands.
Kos misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kos lands a right hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kos. Hatfield does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kos looks to land a combination. Hatfield sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kos throws a nice looking combination but Hatfield bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hatfield manages to avoid it.
Hatfield lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hatfield cracks Kos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hatfield connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kos scrambles back to his feet.
Kos throws out a loose jab but Hatfield uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kos throws a hook but Hatfield blocks it.
Hatfield throwing a counter right hand but Kos manages to avoid it.

Hatfield displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kos throws out the jab.
Hatfield scores with a punch to the head.
Hatfield looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hatfield lands a body shot.
Kos scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hatfield misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kos misses with a double jab
and Hatfield connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kos looks to land a right hand but Hatfield moved out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Hatfield misses the target.
No joy there for Kos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hatfield lands an overhand right.
Hatfield lands a glancing blow to the side of Kos's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hatfield throws a good cross that connects.

Kos is rocked!
Kos ducks into an uppercut from Hatfield and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Riley Hatfield thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
