Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Punter (ranked 2479 p4p, 2157 weight class) and Zimmer Zubov (ranked 355 p4p, 311 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zubov tries to clinch up.

Zubov drives through and clinches with Punter against the cage.
Punter is leaning against Zubov and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A short body shot lands from Punter as the two fighters clinch.

Punter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Punter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zubov has time to react.

Punter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Punter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Punter content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Zubov has locked up a guillotine! Zubov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Punter is holding on here and Zubov must be using up a lot of energy. Punter has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Zubov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
