The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greensch gets caught flat footed, as Kimsh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kimsh passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kimsh staying calm.
Greensch wants to control but Kimsh postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greensch can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kimsh is trying to get an arm triangle but Greensch is defending well.
Greensch controls the position for a moment.
Greensch is looking to regain half guard here but Kimsh keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greensch is trying to control Kimsh's posture but Kimsh avoids it.
Greensch might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kimsh haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
