Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Brunson (ranked 2884 p4p, 3943 weight class) and Cyrius Python (ranked 393 p4p, 498 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doyle Brunson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrius Python!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson thuds a left hand into Python's body.
Brunson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Python uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brunson.
It seemed like Python was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've been hearing reports that Brunson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Brunson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Python was covering up waiting for the punch and Brunson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Brunson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Python with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Brunson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Python is hurt! He's hurt bad - Brunson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Python from any more punishment! Congratulations to Brunson! Great finish!
