And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bo Lin!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimsh with a poor takedown
and Lin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kimsh takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The crowd cheers as Lin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kimsh doesn't seem phased though.
We've been hearing reports that Kimsh has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kimsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lin sprawls well. Lin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kimsh gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kimsh dives in for a single leg takedown but Lin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kimsh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lin pulls Kimsh in close to prevent any damage.
Lin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kimsh puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kimsh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lin manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Suydas Kimsh will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Lin lands a really nice looking cross but Kimsh seems unphased.
Suydas Kimsh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kimsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Lin, which made it look bad.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kimsh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

This has been an exciting period of action!

A little jabbing left from Lin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bo Lin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kimsh walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kimsh shoots in for a takedown but Lin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kimsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Lin sprawls well. He's pushed Kimsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kimsh back to the cage. Lin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Lin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kimsh circles away quickly and effectively.
Lin has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Lin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
