Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Jach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salva Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz has chosen Kreator - Phobia as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Salva Cruz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jach tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jach tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cruz swivels and escapes.

so Cruz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jach utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cruz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jach wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jach can't keep his opponent in guard - Cruz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Cruz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jach with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jach is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jach trying to hold on to Cruz's head to control him but Cruz postures up.
Cruz thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jach to regain full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jach fails to land with a series of punches.
Cruz throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jach stumbling backwards into the cage! Jach bounces back off the cage towards Cruz, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Cruz lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Cruz celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
