Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Eriksson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eugeniy Tryastsyn!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson scores with a decent looking hook.

Tryastsyn shoots in and gets a takedown into Eriksson's guard.
Eriksson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Tryastsyn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Eriksson quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eriksson holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Tryastsyn wants to take a breather but Eriksson is having none of it.

Eugeniy Tryastsyn dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nice defenses there by Eriksson.
Tryastsyn goes for a double leg but Eriksson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eriksson continues to drive forward.
It looked like Eriksson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Eriksson cracks Tryastsyn with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tryastsyn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Eriksson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tryastsyn.
Tryastsyn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Tryastsyn is tightening it up a little... Eriksson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Eriksson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Eriksson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Tryastsyn!
