The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs stuffs the takedown attempt from La Vellei. La Vellei gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burroughs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burroughs fails to land the takedown.
La Vellei misses with a takedown attempt - Burroughs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A nice side step and Burroughs releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
