The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houston ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pfanne moves away.
Pfanne looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pfanne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Houston avoids it really well and circles away.
Houston looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Houston counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pfanne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice cross by Houston.
Houston connects with the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Houston lands a nice hook to Pfanne's body. Pfanne takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Houston catches Pfanne with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Houston jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Houston lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pfanne has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pfanne and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Houston cracks Pfanne with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Houston looks to land a right hand but Pfanne moved out of range.

Houston bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pfanne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Houston sprawls well. Houston wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pfanne gets slowly back to his feet.
