The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourbon closes the distance and clinches up with Khalidovv, looking for a takedown. Bourbon pushes Khalidovv against the cage but Khalidovv circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Khalidovv shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bourbon as he avoids it easily.
Khalidovv throws a sloppy head kick and Bourbon moves out of range easily.

Khalidovv had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bourbon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Khalidovv Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bourbon's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raul Bourbon.
Well Bourbon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
