Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Dole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Stevens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens stuffs the takedown attempt from Dole. Dole gets slowly back to his feet.
A left and a right from Stevens both land. Nice combination.
Dole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stevens tries to avoid it but Dole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stevens to the ground. Stevens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stevens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dole looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stevens tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Dole is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dole sneaks back into half guard.
Stevens thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dole wants to get back to full guard.

Dole is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Stevens pulls his head out easily.
Dole is trying to get back to full guard.
Stevens is nestled in close to Dole, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Nice strikes from Stevens there.
Stevens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stevens thows a huge punch but Dole dodges it nicely.
Dole gets full guard.
Stevens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dole is breathing heavily.

Stevens is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dole has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Stevens is looking to defend but Dole has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Stevens! Dole pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Stevens taps out and this one is all over!
