The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fyodorov fails to land with a series of punches.
Fyodorov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jenkins pinned against the cage. Jenkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fyodorov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins avoids it really well and circles away.
Jenkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fyodorov was well out of range. Poor timing from Jenkins.
Alexander Fyodorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Jenkins. No joy for Fyodorov on that attempt.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Jenkins and Fyodorov goes tumbling to the canvas! Jenkins follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Jenkins stands up and beckons Fyodorov to join him on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Jenkins drops Fyodorov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fyodorov looks back up at him and smiles so Jenkins waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fyodorov is still on wobbly legs! Can Jenkins finish him?
