The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carvalho sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jonas Carvalho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swas misses with a head kick.

Carvalho drops his shoulder and cracks Swas with a huge uppercut! Swas goes down! Can Carvalho finish him?

Swas is controlling Carvalho's posture.

Carvalho moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Swas goes down! Can Carvalho finish him!?

Carvalho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swas has control of Carvalho's left arm, preventing Carvalho from doing any damage.
Carvalho wants to stand but Swas is controlling his posture from full guard.

Swas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Carvalho defends well.

Swas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carvalho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Swas somewhat.
Carvalho is looking for the big counter here.
Carvalho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swas.
As Carvalho tries to get set, Swas tries to push him back and clinch up but Carvalho manages to avoid the attempt.
Swas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carvalho avoids it really well and circles away.
As Swas backs off Carvalho throws a huge counter combo but Swas manages to avoid it all.
Carvalho connects with a nice looking jab.
Carvalho dances in with a quick combination. Swas is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Carvalho snaps Swas's head back. Swas stumbles backwards against the cage. Carvalho steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Swas's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Swas just didn't come prepared.
