Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Crappler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Fade To Black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Derek James acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Crappler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek James!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crappler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crappler blocks a head kick by James.
Crappler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crappler avoids a punch combination nicely.
James tries to clinch but Crappler is having none of it.
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Crappler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from James.
Crappler will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James tries to clinch up but Crappler circles away and keeps his distance.
James fails in his attempt to clinch.
James throws a push kick but Crappler slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Crappler shoots in but no luck this time.
Crappler tests James's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Crappler lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Crappler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James tries to clinch up but Crappler circles away and keeps his distance.
James misses the body punch
enabling Crappler to counter with a crisp jab.

Crappler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Crappler working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Crappler looking for a guillotine from mount but James is having none of it.
James wants to hold on but Crappler pushes him away.

Crappler is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, James has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Crappler prevents James from getting the reversal.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Crappler working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Crappler is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. James can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crappler punching from mount but James doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Crappler scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Crappler with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

James tries to buck Crappler off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crappler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Crappler avoids the attempt from James to control.

Crappler working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. James turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Crappler off and cradles James's limp body as Crappler celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). King Crappler!
