The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Draught scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Draught is working for a kimura but El Shaarawy is defending it quite comfortably.

Draught is looking for a kimura but El Shaarawy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Draught to get the leverage.

El Shaarawy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Draught knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Draught for a finish.

Draught postures up in El Shaarawy's guard and throws a big left but El Shaarawy blocks it.

Draught seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but El Shaarawy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Draught is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so El Shaarawy is just riding it out for now. Draught eventually gives up the hold.
El Shaarawy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Draught is working away from the top position though.

El Shaarawy is kicking away at Draught from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Draught grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with El Shaarawy trying to push Draught off... El Shaarawy taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
