Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Claremont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Arsene Peroche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peroche has chosen Down with the sickness as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Matt Claremont has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Matt Claremont seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peroche punishes Claremont's body with a nice straight punch.
Peroche throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Claremont.
Claremont displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peroche throws out the jab.

It looks like Matt Claremont has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Claremont blocks a jab.
Claremont steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peroche.
Peroche throws a right and a left that Claremont avoids nicely.
Claremont needs to keep his hands up - Peroche had a free shot at his head there.

Claremont shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Claremont not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Claremont knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peroche on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Peroche thows a body shot but no joy.

Peroche controls Claremont momentarily but Claremont frees himself.

Peroche is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Claremont gets to his feet. Peroche looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Claremont closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peroche did well to prevent Claremont getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Claremont is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Peroche doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Claremont.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Peroche throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Claremont connects with a nice short shot to Peroche's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Claremont decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Peroche, up you get!

Claremont has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Peroche avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Claremont is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Peroche might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Claremont kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Claremont stands up over Peroche, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Claremont stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peroche swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Claremont drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Claremont jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Peroche has his feet on Claremont's thighs here. He's pushed Claremont off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Claremont screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
