The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a looping left.

Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Kruczek has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Kruczek holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.

Jackson pulls guard effortlessly.

Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kruczek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kruczek defends it easily.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruczek wants to stand but Jackson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kruczek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jackson is tightening it up a little... Kruczek has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kruczek reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kruczek taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jackson!

KoolAID Jackson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
