Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Fuentes (ranked 19 p4p, 176 weight class) and William Riker (ranked 3 p4p, 27 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Riker's choice of entrance music: In The Summertime. William Riker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riker misses with a wild combination.
Fuentes thumps Riker with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Fuentes.
Riker avoids a kick to the body.
A jab from Riker misses.
Fuentes is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Riker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fuentes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fuentes throws a leg kick
and Riker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Pedro Fuentes has been cut.
Riker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fuentes on the side of the head.

Fuentes doesn't manage to clinch there - Riker circles away.
Pedro Fuentes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuentes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fuentes throws a jab but it's blocked by Riker.
Fuentes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fuentes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like William Riker has been cut.
Fuentes lands a jab to Riker's midsection.
Riker takes one to the side of the head.
Fuentes throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fuentes connects with a leg kick.
Riker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Riker throws a lazy uppercut
and Riker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Riker walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Fuentes! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
