Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smity Smash (ranked 4169 p4p, 4427 weight class) and Richard Head (ranked 439 p4p, 452 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Head walks away with a smile on his face. Smash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Smity Smash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Head displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smash.

Smash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
