Hisashi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Feng Shui. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akahoshi Hisashi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamil Marek!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hisashi throws a shot to the body.
Hisashi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Marek counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hisashi throws a hook to the side of Marek's head but Marek sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hisashi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice defenses there by Hisashi.
Marek ducks right into an uppercut from Hisashi.
Hisashi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Kamil Marek has been cut.
Marek throws a shot from downtown. Hisashi moves away and avoids it.
Marek takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Marek throws a leg kick that misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hisashi misses with a straight left.
Hisashi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Marek counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marek is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hisashi.

Akahoshi Hisashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hisashi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marek. Marek circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Marek lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hisashi throws an overhand right that lands on Marek's shoulder, as Marek tries to avoid the shot.

and Marek counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hisashi! Marek lets Hisashi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Oh Hisashi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hisashi lands with a right hand.

Hisashi seems to have got his legs back now.
Marek uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hisashi.
Marek swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hisashi misses with an uppercut. Marek saw that one coming.
It seemed like Marek was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Marek gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hisashi throws an overhand right that lands on Marek's shoulder, as Marek tries to avoid the shot.
Hisashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marek sizes up Hisashi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Marek takes one on the button.
Hisashi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hisashi misses with a hook. Marek ducked under it nicely.
We've been told by Hisashi's head coaches at Gold Samurai's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hisashi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Hisashi closes the distance looking to clinch
and Marek counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Marek slips under a jab from Hisashi.
Marek ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Marek counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hisashi is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Hisashi keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hisashi lands a really nice looking cross but Marek seems unphased.
Marek on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Hisashi misses with a hook
and Marek cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marek drops Hisashi with a huge uppercut! Hisashi drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Marek is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamil Marek!
