PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Random Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brocke Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Jobber which made him look bad.
Lesnar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jobber throws a nice looking combination but Lesnar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lesnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Brocke Lesnar just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lesnar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jobber tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jobber to the ground. Jobber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lesnar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Jobber sprawls well.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Jobber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lesnar lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Brocke Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lesnar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jobber's face.
Lesnar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
