Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Da Silva (ranked 1272 p4p, 928 weight class) and Michael Aalto (ranked 130 p4p, 95 weight class). Da Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Uzi Vert - XO Tour Llif3. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Aalto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aalto throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Aalto misses the target.
Da Silva tried to counter with a leg kick but Aalto avoided it.
Aalto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Da Silva lands with a hook. Aalto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Aalto gets a double leg takedown into Da Silva's guard.
Aalto is pushing down on Da Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Da Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Aalto has managed to sneak the leg through.
Aalto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Da Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Aalto connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Da Silva to escape the position.

Well, with Aalto on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Da Silva is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aalto seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Da Silva's chin but Da Silva turns very nicely into Aalto's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Da Silva.

Aalto quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Da Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Aalto celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
