The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mahn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Klitschko lunges at Mahn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mahn's hand.

Mahn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Klitschko, pushing him back against the cage.
Mahn is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Klitschko to keep the fight standing.

Klitschko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mahn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mahn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mahn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Klitschko.
Mahn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Klitschko finds it's way round the side to connect with Mahn's head.
Klitschko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Klitschko swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mahn.
Oh Mahn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been informed that Klitschko has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Klitschko tries to clinch up but Mahn circles away and keeps his distance.
Mahn tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Klitschko manages to circle out of the way.
Mahn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Klitschko counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Klitschko counters with a left and a right that hurts Mahn! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Klitschko jumps into full mount!

Klitschko goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mahn is on top in guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
