Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryyty Kaapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryyty Kaapa looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machida drives through and clinches with Kaapa against the cage.
Kaapa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Machida wants to get back to his feet but Kaapa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A close round but Lyoto Machida will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kaapa forces Machida back against the cage and clinches.
Kaapa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kaapa can't get the takedown.
Machida scores a nice knee to the body.
Kaapa jumps guard but Machida stands there with Kaapa around his waist. Kaapa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Machida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machida misses with a takedown attempt - Kaapa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kaapa is landing with some decent strikes but Machida is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryyty Kaapa will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Machida stays in close to Kaapa's body and controls the position.

Machida is fighting to break Kaapa's control of his arms but Kaapa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Machida lands a couple of digs.
Machida slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
