The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Verus. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Happy (0) vs (4) Verus
Verus has knee on belly momentarily but Happy bucks him off and regains half guard.
Verus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Happy is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Verus in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Happy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Verus!
