Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Lentz (ranked 285 p4p, 378 weight class) and White Rain (ranked 44 p4p, 58 weight class). Rain has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon Lentz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Rain!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain cracks Lentz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lentz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lentz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rain manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lentz is looking to wear down Rain with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lentz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rain manages to avoid it.
Lentz throws an overhand right that lands on Rain's shoulder, as Rain tries to avoid the shot.
A little jabbing left from Rain on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

It seemed like Rain was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rain misses with an uppercut.
Rain ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lentz throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rain looks to land a combination but Lentz avoids it well.
Lentz misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rain crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lentz - the referee stops the clock and Rain gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lentz. Rain manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both fighters circling a little - Lentz finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Lentz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lentz.
Rain looks to land a right hand but Lentz moved out of range.

and Rain counters with a series of strikes. Lentz will be more careful next time no doubt.

It looks like Lentz has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Rain appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rain there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lentz throws a head kick that Rain semi-blocks.

Lentz tries to keep at a distance but Rain has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rain decides to pull guard.
Rain trying to keep a closed guard but Lentz is proving a slippery customer.

Rain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rain wants to sweep but no luck.
Lentz wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.
Rain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lentz manages to get himself to full guard.

Rain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lentz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Rain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
White Rain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lentz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lentz, as that shot connected.
Lentz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rain in his tracks.
Rain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Rain closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rain tries to throw a body punch but Lentz avoids it by throwing Rain back against the cage.
Rain can't find room to land a body shot as Lentz controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rain pulls guard.
Lentz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lentz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Rain is looking for a triangle but Lentz pushes his legs off easily.
Rain wants to hit a sweep here but Lentz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rain there!

Rain is looking to improve his position but Lentz isn't that keen on the idea.

Lentz stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Rain lands a leg kick that knocks Lentz off balance momentarily.
Lentz tries a head kick but it misses.
Rain turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lentz misses with a hook. Rain ducked under it nicely.
Rain looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lentz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rain.

A slapping body kick lands there for Rain.
Rain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rain thuds his right hand into Lentz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lentz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lentz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A countering left hand to the body from Rain misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lentz missing with a left hand there. Rain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lentz moves out of range of the strikes.
Rain avoids the head kick by Lentz.
Lentz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lentz misses with a body punch
and Rain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lentz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Rain throws a leg kick that misses.
Rain is pawing at Lentz, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lentz's nose. Lentz is badly hurt! Rain pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lentz tries desperately to hold on but Rain is relentless in his assault! As Lentz receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Rain away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). White Rain!
During a confident post fight interview, White Rain thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
