Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davido Monto (ranked 1040 p4p, 651 weight class) and Roberto Fabinho (ranked 160 p4p, 103 weight class). Fabinho has chosen Glowed Up - Kaytranada as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Fabinho!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monto shoots in and bounces Fabinho off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Monto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fabinho is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Monto, into his guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fabinho working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fabinho connects with a nice short shot to Monto's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fabinho has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Monto has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
