Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yevgeny Ignatov (ranked 615 p4p, 540 weight class) and Narek Sirakanian (ranked 104 p4p, 91 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

It looked like Ignatov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Narek Sirakanian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A quick step to the side and Ignatov tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sirakanian has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ignatov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sirakanian sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sirakanian looks to score with a jab to the body but Ignatov is just out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ignatov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ignatov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sirakanian's hands.

That has opened up Narek Sirakanian's cut even more.
Ignatov is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Sirakanian walks straight into a right hand from Ignatov - that's dropped him! Ignatov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sirakanian from any more punishment! Sirakanian complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

After winning the bout, Yevgeny Ignatov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
