The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Morel or perhaps it was just good defense by Corbin, which made it look bad.
A little jabbing left from Corbin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Morel seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Morel throws a poor cross that misses
and Corbin counters with a nice uppercut.
Guilmont Morel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corbin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morel on the side of the head.
Corbin scores with a shot to the body.
Corbin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Corbin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Morel attempts a counter takedown but Corbin avoids it well and moves away.

Morel looks to throw the jab but Corbin is out of range.
Corbin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nice uppercut lands for Corbin. That snapped Morel's head back.
Corbin connects with a crisp jab.
Morel throws a hook but Corbin avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Corbin! But no joy.
Morel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Corbin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Corbin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morel throws out the jab.
Corbin looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Corbin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Corbin lands a left and a right that send Morel crashing to the mat, dazed. Corbin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Morel is rocked!

Oh Morel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ulysses Corbin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morel misses with a hook. Corbin ducked under it nicely.

A punch lands to the side of Morel 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Corbin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Corbin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Corbin thuds his right hand into Morel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Morel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Oooooh!!! Corbin has knocked Morel down with a huge combo! Corbin steps away and waves a wobbly Morel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
